Print-Ready Postcards

Midjourney V8.2$4.99

Who it is for Travellers, shops and event hosts who want illustrated A6 postcards with a proper back.

Print-ready postcards: the front art of an A6 postcard. Every part is a reusable prompt: change the [bracketed] words, keep the look, and each example below was laid out as a print file at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed.

The template

Change the highlighted [bracketed] words and keep the rest.

[subject], illustrated postcard art, [style], [palette] palette, full-bleed composition with the main subject away from the edges

Parameters

--ar 10:7 --raw --s 150 --no text, letters, border, frame, mockup, stamp, watermark, signature --v 8.2

Add --hd for 2048 px artwork.

Small matching motif for the back of a card or postcard

small spot illustration of [motif], [style], [palette] palette, centred on a plain white background with lots of empty space, single small element
--ar 1:1 --raw --s 100 --no text, letters, border, frame, scene, shadow, watermark, signature --v 8.2

How to use it

  1. Paste the prompt into Midjourney (web or Discord) and replace each [bracketed] part with your own words.
  2. Keep the parameters at the end.
  3. Midjourney gives four images per run; run it two or three times and keep the best.
  4. Written for Midjourney V8.2; --hd gives 2048 px images for print.
  5. Use the same --seed on both prompts so the back motif matches the front.
  6. Print double-sided at 100% scale.
